About the native wildlife in and around  El Rincon...

Due to the remote location, wildlife abounds at Rincon. Iconic to Patagonia the mighty condor can be seen on a regular basis, sometime soaring the thermals and other times at much closer quarters searching for carrion in this wild landscape.

Animal life also includes Guanacos, Rhea (ostrich-like birds), Fox, Armadillo, Skunk, Hares, wild Horses. Many species of birds, including flamingo, geese and ducks) can be seen “up close and personal” due to the non-threatening nature of the human activity in the area, so for the keen photographer, the relative tameness of the wildlife can provide some close up opportunities.
